Policies and FAQ

Travel Fees: Travel fees apply outside a 20 mile radius. The travel fee is $20 for any parties from 20 miles away from our base and then an extra $1 for each additional mile over 20. This charge is necessary to cover the extra gas, time and vehicle wear and tear. We will let you know about any fees in advance of your event.We require a Non -Refundable reservation fee to reserve your party date and to provide the remaining balance the day of the party in cash. If you choose to cancel for ANY reason, your deposit is non-refundable. If we do not receive your deposit in 5 days of our communication, this party date will be automatically released.

Because you work with children, do you have a privacy policy? Silly Sallys promises to adhere to the highest ethical standards in safeguarding any information received from persons age 16 or under (“children”). Silly Sallys does not rent or sell customer information, including any information, which may be provided by children, to outside marketers. All photos used are for promotional purposes only and will not identify the child’s age, residence or name.

How much space do your activities require? We will work with whatever amount of space you can provide. We require enough space for the children to sit around your character on the floor.

Cancellations and Refunds: If you must cancel your party for any reason, the following refund policy applies: We will be unable to refund your deposit. If you need to reschedule, we will gladly offer an alternative party date for your consideration.

Gratuity & Tipping: A gratuity is not included in your final invoice, but is certainly appreciated by our staff and entertainers.

What if I want my entertainer to stay longer? Most of our entertainers have other parties scheduled so try to book in advance. However, our hourly fee would apply.

Arriving & Departure Times: 99% of the time, we are not late. However, please allow some a window of time for our entertainers to arrive. This is LA and traffic can sometimes be unpredictable. If we arrive a little late, we will give you the time at the end of your event.

Party Times: Kid’s Parties are 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on the package selection and age of the children.

Parking: Please leave some space for us to park near an entrance where we will not be blocked in. We would appreciate easy access, as we have a lot of heavy items to carry into your party.

How do we get the children to behave? Good behavior is always promoted, but it is your responsibility to monitor and take charge if a child is not behaving. Our entertainers are there to make the kids happy, not to discipline.

Where is the party held? Parties are typically held in your home or the venue of your choice

Can we book a party date on a major holiday? Party dates are booked based upon availability. Holiday parties are billed an additional fee.

Photography: Silly Sallys reserves the right to use photographs taken at your event in any and all promotional media, whether now known or hereafter existing, controlled by Silly Sallys, in perpetuity, and for other use by Silly Sallys.

Disclaimer: We do not offer characters from television. We only have professional theatrical costumes. It is not our intention to violate any copyright laws. The characters that we offer are NOT name brand copyrighted characters, and we make no attempt to market them as such. The characters that we have are of our own creation. Any resemblance to nationally known copyrighted characters is strictly incidental and unintentional. If you have any questions regarding this issue, we encourage you to contact us. Should you have the need for a licensed, copyrighted character at your event, we encourage you to contact the company/copyright holders for your specific targeted character. Ours are as generic as we could make them. In addition, we will only accept bookings from individuals who are aware that we DO NOT represent any licensed birthday party character.
